A scoping review of information systems (IS) literature from 2010 to 2025 found only a handful of relevant publications on technology facilitated domestic and family abuse: a striking neglect in a discipline uniquely positioned to help. ANROWS data makes the stakes plain. One in two Australian adults report victimisation, and one in four admit perpetration. This panel paper combines perspectives from academia, law and protective security. It argues for an IS research agenda that confronts technology's dual capacity to empower and to harm, with the experiences of vulnerable people at its centre.
